Solid blocks are one of the types of concrete masonry unit (CMU) having a definite shape and heavyweight than other concrete blocks. It is widely used in various ways due to its advantages over red bricks, mainly due to its fine-quality and long life span. Though these concrete blocks are expensive than red bricks, its overall benefits make it a worthwhile investment.

- Resistant to abrasion in acute weather conditions and to fire up to about 400°C.
